Madrid, August 22, 2011 --We are delighted to welcome Dr. Sven Pastowski, Project Manager Group Services in adidas Group, who joins us as Keynote Speaker at the Forum on Football.
Dr. Pastowski will talk to us about “adidas and the FIFA World CupTM: Selected aspects from the past, present and future”.
Sven Pastowski studied business administration at the University of Bayreuth and started his professional career as a research assistant at the “Chair of Services Management” in Bayreuth. In 2003 he finalized his PhD studies and continued working as assistant professor at the University of Bayreuth. His scientific interests centred on all aspects of services management, focussing on strategic and operational marketing aspects, market research, and service quality management. Most of his research and consulting projects were related to the services in sports, tourism, culture, and education markets.
In 2005 he started working for the adidas Group reporting to the General Counsel. In his current position as Project manager Group Services he is in charge of various cross functional projects on a group wide basis, internal service projects and board-initiated projects in headquarters and global locations. He is engaged in external relations with academic and research institutions, governments, and federations from the sporting goods industry. Lately he was responsible for the adidas Group’s social business initiative in close cooperation with adidas Group’s sustainability programs.
